Each year, Colvin Cleaners collects, dry cleans, & distributes prom gowns to students across Western New York to select the gown of their dreams, that they could otherwise not afford.

GOWNS FOR PROM HEADQUARTERS
 

For decades, Gowns for Prom was an event where students could come and select a gown at no cost. In 2026, the program has officially landed at our NEW headquarters at 2312 Elmwood. Now, from March - April, students can make appointments to choose and try on a gown, and leave with the dress of their dreams. Volunteers will be there to assist as "Gown Guides" to make the experience personal and ensure each student leaves feeling beautiful.

Gowns for Prom is created, managed, and executed by Colvin Cleaners. Gowns for Prom is a registered 501(c)3. All monetary or gown donations go to the perpetuation of the Gowns for Prom program. If you are a Colvin Cleaners customer, you are welcome to use our FREE Pick Up & Delivery service to pick up any donations for Gowns for Prom or Coats 4 Kids.
