We'd Love Your Help Supporting Gowns for Prom

Hi WNY community!

We are looking for donations of gently-used or new prom-worthy gowns or dresses along with shoes, handbags, purses, jewelry, and other accessories to support Gowns for Prom!

This program enables students in WNY to get a prom gown at no cost, eliminating an expense from a family that can be a burden and possibly prevent some students from attending prom.

How can you help?

  • You can donate items at any of our donation locations. See the list by clicking here.

  • Or, you can shop our Amazon Wishlist by clicking here, and sending items to our sorting headquarters at Colvin Cleaners.

  • Or, if you are a Colvin Cleaners customer, one of our drivers will come to your home or office to pick up your donation. You just let us know on your account to stop by, and we'll be there on your next pick up day.

We appreciate you considering supporting Gowns for Prom! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to our Gowns for Prom Marketing Coordinator, Megan, at megan@colvincleaners.com

Happy Gowns!

The effort to support students through prom attire is a wonderful initiative. I appreciated the focus on helping young people participate in important events with confidence and dignity. It reminded me of how community support can make a meaningful difference. During a hectic semester, I need someone for my accounting course help while balancing studies and commitments. The cause is truly worthwhile. nice post makes me smile

The fact that he wasn't even supposed to be on duty that night, and yet his calm, analytical thinking under unimaginable pressure is what prevented a nuclear catastrophe, is both humbling and fascinating. What really stands out is how his decision went against rigid Soviet military protocol — he trusted his gut and his engineering knowledge over a flashing alarm system, and that instinct potentially saved billions of lives. It's a sobering reminder of how fragile peace can be and how a single individual's judgment can carry the weight of the entire world. Stories like this deserve to…

It was nice to read about helping students get prom dresses and making special events more accessible for everyone. School activities can be expensive, so community support like this can have a real impact. During a busy semester, I used to Do My Online Class support while managing school responsibilities and volunteer work. Small acts of kindness can create memorable experiences for many students.
